About Us

ZeroC was formed in 2008 from the award winning house builder Cornhill Estates, a company that has been building very high quality homes and mixed use developments for the past 10 years.

We are at the forefront of sustainable development and lead the way in delivering outstanding homes that are inexpensive to live in and that respect the environment.

We build all our homes with space standards that properly respect the people who are going to live in them. For example, our 3 bedroom houses are generally the size of a volume house builder’s 4 bedroom house.

We are resourced to deliver in excess of 300 homes a year and have consents, or subject to planning options, for over 1500 homes, offices and commercial buildings.

We are award winning developers. Our residential housing scheme at Upton, Northampton won the BRE award for the highest scoring BREEAM EcoHomes development in the United Kingdom. Our residential scheme on the Prince of Wales’s Poundbury development in Dorchester won the Regen SW award for the best sustainable housing scheme to be delivered in the South West. We are also winners of one of the Oscars of house building, the What House ‘Sustainable Developer of the Year’ award.
